Mullaghmast Stone, Co. Kildare

£65.00

Dated between 500-600AD, the enigmatic Mullaghmast Stone was believed to have been utilised in the inauguration of Kings of Leinster. Intriguing due to its lack of Christian symbolism in this period, it features 4 deep sword cuts, believed to be ritualistic processes in line with Welsh/Briton Celtic practises in the era. A true gem of Ireland’s hidden treasures.

Finished in Ceramic clay, static grasses and acrylics.

This bespoke piece is presently available at £65+ shipping. Email for details.
